Notes:-Canal to Polesworth loop with Harry. Attended the district scout awards this morning. Haz was awarded chief scout and DofE silver awards. Very proud of him. Had a call from Fran, Sarah and Mark yesterday updating me on their visit to Pennine Lodge in Carlisle. They all really liked it so thats one to consider. Had a catch up with Sis later and explained our understanding of the funding ad that Social care and Mum will only be able to contribute a fixed amount. The top up will have to come from somewhere else, eg sale of knuckleskuds. Further conversion with the social worker will confirm fund, but sis needs to check the status of the trust. Can it sell the house and put funds back into the trust and pay care costs. I would rather do this and make sure mum has the best care, think we all agree on that. However I am still not convinced it is the right time for mum. A big part of me hopes this takes ages to resolve meaning mum has more time at home. Another part of me thinks it is maybe the right time given mums chronic dizziness and loneliness, she doesnt remember when anyone has been around to see her, maybe living in a more stimulating environment would actually make her happier… I just dont know… On the positive side 104 miles logged in January which was the most I have done for any January.
