Notes:-Bentley woods with Tom and Harry. Weekend sorting out the house and getting holiday stuff packed away. Fitted a bathroom cupboard in the loft en-suite, same as the one in the downstairs bathroom. Also hung some picks in toms room and the summer house. Mums pic of the quirang on Skye which hung in the kitchen at Knuckleskuds is now on Toms chimney breast. Also made a strap and chain to stop the parasol from blowing over to next door. This was the first day and night when the temp fell to a comfortable level. Record heatwave this week, totally boiling so not safe to walk or ride. Took my Ribble to get serviced at a new guy in Arley, drove over in Bella on Wednesday afternoon and it was 30 plus degrees, similar temp when I picked it up on Friday. Hopefully that has fixed the slipping gears. Guy spotted an issue with the torque bolts on the stem, one not properly tapped so he suggested asking Ribble to send a replacement. Also watched the footy last night in the Bull, no drama this time thankfully.
